Some quick sketches of female figures.

I heard the famous Craig Mullins recite an old saying that painting is 90% drawing. In short, people live under the misconception that drawing is essentially just lines. However, it applies to much more than that. In my case and this instance here, I find blocking in shapes and colour to be a far easier and more pleasing experience. Infact, most of my sketches are started this way with a few exceptions. My mind just finds accomplishing proportion far easier with blocks of paint and silhouettes. Experiment and find what works best for you.
